Lower Feed Roller Bearing
- Before you begin, make sure the drain cleaner is disconnected from power.
- Use a 1/4 inch socket wrench to remove the three bolts securing the cable adjustment plate.

- Remove the cable adjustment plate.

- Use a 3/16 inch hex wrench to remove the swing pin.

- Pull the thrust bearing straight out and remove it.
- Use pliers to slide the bottom carrier straight out of the feed body.

- Use a 3/16 inch hex wrench to remove the feed roller shaft.
- It may be necessary to insert a thin screwdriver or hex wrench into the top end of the carrier to help hold the carrier while you loosen the feed roller shaft.

Step 6
- Remove the upper feed roller assembly, including the fiber disks on either side of it.

If you feel that simply opening/cleaning the drain will suffice, that’s your choice.
