What you need

Step 1

              Hamilton G5 Rear Panel-Metal Shield Disassembly               
  • Remove the screw (A) and washer(B) and remove the cable management cover (C).

Remove the screw (A) and washer(B) and remove the cable management cover (C).

  • Remove the 4 screws (D) to remove the panel’s swivel mount (E).

Remove the 4 screws (D) to remove the panel’s swivel mount (E).

Step 3

  • Remove the 6 screws (F) and remove the back panel (G).

Remove the 6 screws (F) and remove the back panel (G).

Step 4

  • Remove the 5 screws and remove the metal shield.

Remove the 5 screws and remove the metal shield.

  • Disconnect all cables from the motherboard.

Step 7

  • If nessesary, remove the ESM module by disconnecting the module from the connecting sockets (A).

Step 8

  • Remove the 3 screws and 3 nuts, then lift out the motherboard.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
