Remove the battery
- Verify the laptop model. Remove the power cable.
- The battery only requires to move a latch to the left. With this, it comes out by itself.

Remove the lid that protects the hard drive
- Remove the 2 screws. These are holding the plastic lid

- Remove the three 5mm screws that hold the hard drive in place
- Move the hard drive to the left to disconnect it from the SATA port
- Lift the hard drive to remove it from the laptop
- Remove the screws to put in the replacement
