- Loosen the two captive 8 mm screws in the back cover using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.

- Remove the six 6 mm screws from the back cover using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
- When removing the final screw, hold the assembly together. There is a spring inside the device which will pop the assembly apart when all the screws are removed.

- Carefully separate the two sections, leaving them connected by the wires.

Buttons
- Remove the buttons by de-soldering them from the wires they are attached to or from the mother board. Refer to the soldering guide here.
