- Cut through the remaining thread of the elastic strap.
- Remove the strap buckle to adjust the position.
- This step is only if the elastic strap is still attached by any little thread. If the buckle is already detached, skip to step two.

Step 2
- Slide the end of the strap underneath the buckle frame without the center prong.

- Lift the center buckle prong vertically and place it into the center of the strap elastic.

- Continue pushing the strap elastic down underneath the other side buckle frame.

- Fold the detached elastic strap together with the strap attached to the heel so that both straps are evenly lined up.

- With a threaded needle, sew along the ends of the straps in order to enclose the buckle in place.
- Avoid poking your fingers with the needle.
