Opening Device
- Remove the six 15 mm screws from the shear using a Phillips #2 screwdriver.

Remove Faceplate
- Pull the faceplate away from the body of the device and replace it with the new faceplate.
- Potential for device damage: Be sure to take caution of loose wires during the replacement process.
- If the plate with the screw sockets was replaced, the wires will need to be put back into the the depressions on the new plate for the device to be closed up properly. See photo with the blades on the right for proper wire placement.
