Introduction

The cord provides power to the flat iron. You will know if the device is working if the metal plates are hot when the cord is plugged in. Do not plug in a frayed or cracked cord.

Changing the electrical cord is a four-step process. Each step includes easy to follow instructions and a photo that demonstrates what you need to do.

Note that step three will require strength.

What you need

  • Remove the two black 6mm screws.

  • Slide the black O-ring out of its channel and pull it off the end of the flat iron.

Step 3

  • Separate the top and bottom pieces of the shell. It may require some force to break the seal.

Step 4

  • Remove the cord by pulling up and away from the bracket. You are now ready to replace the cord.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

Where can I get a replacement cord? You only show how to removed it but not how to fix it
