The plates of the flat iron will not change temperature when the dial selector is at different positions.

Attempt changing the heat dial to test if the plates will heat up. If the issue persists, test the dial with a multimeter at various temperature settings. If the voltage across the dial is always the same, replace the dial with this guide.

After turning the flat iron on, the plates will get hot, but the LED light is not illuminated.

Test the power on the flat iron by switching the power switch from the off position to the on position. If the LED power indicator doesn’t light up, but the plates get hot, then the LED may be faulty.

The light is on, but the plates will not heat up.

Inspect the internal thermal fuse visually. If you cannot visually tell if the thermal fuse is intact or blown, you can test the fuse with a multimeter. If you find the fuse to be faulty, replace it with this guide.

You are having trouble getting the flat iron to power on
