Your device does not appear to turn on.
Press and hold the wake/sleep button.
If this does not resolve your problem, read on!
Make sure the tablet is plugged in and check to see if it is charged/begins charging.
If it does not, continue reading!
If you have determined that the battery works, it is possible that the display is broken. If no lights or images are visible, but the tablet has power, then the display may need to be replaced.
Click here for the screen replacement guide.
If none of these options solve the problem, check all the connections to the motherboard. If the connections to the motherboard seem intact, the motherboard itself may need to be replaced.

Your device does not hold a charge for more than a few minutes, or stay on without the charger.
If the tablet is plugged in and is still not charging, check for dirt or dust inside the power jack.
If there is any dust or dirt, use pressurized air to gently blow the dust out of the jack.
If the tablet still does not charge or turn on, continue reading.
Insert the power adapter into the power jack and see if it fits correctly or if it is loose. It should fit snugly, without too much movement.
If the power adapter freely moves around in the power jack or if the power adapter falls out of the jack, it may indicate a loose power jack.
Note: It may be worth trying another power adapter to be sure.
If the second adapter produces the same results, the power jack is faulty and needs to be replaced.
If the adapter fits snugly and the light on the adapter is on, continue reading.
Check to make sure the power adapter is plugged into a power outlet. If it is, check to make sure the light on the adapter is on.
If the light is not on and the adapter is plugged in, the adapter may be faulty. Attempt the same process using a different power outlet.
If the light is still not on and the adapter is plugged in, consider purchasing a replacement adapter. If the light is on, continue reading!
Note: It may be useful to attempt the same process using another power adapter if possible before purchasing a replacement.
If the adapter is plugged in and the light on the adapter is on, make sure the adapter is connected to the tablet.
Insert the charger and attempt to turn on the tablet. If the tablet powers on regardless of charging time, then the battery is faulty.
Another way to test the battery is to insert the charger and leave the charger in the device for 20 minutes. Then attempt to turn on the tablet. If the tablet does not begin to charge, the battery may be defective if you’ve already established that the power adapter works.

If your tablet is not holding a charge, you may have too many apps running. This overloads the device, which causes it to work harder, which in turn uses more charge.
First turn the tablet off, wait one minute after the tablet has been completely turned off, then turn it back on.
If it is still not functioning properly, clear the data and cache that your apps are using and end any apps, processes, or services you are not using. Disabling WiFi and Bluetooth connections may also help preserve battery life.
You can view battery usage status by:
Select Settings > Under “Device” select Battery
This will show you what processes or applications are draining your battery.
You can force close apps by:
Select Settings > Under ‘‘Device’’ select Apps > Select Application manager > Choose any app and select Force Stop
Nothing happens when you touch the screen.
Make sure the device is powered on and charged. Press and hold the wake/sleep button. If the device is powered on and charged, but the screen is still not responding, continue reading!
Attempt to remove any screen protector or case that you have on your tablet and test the touchscreen again. Test again that the tablet is charged and on. It is possible that the case has prevented you from depressing the power button completely.
CAUTION: Some screen protectors may not re-apply properly or at all.
Perform a Soft Reset. A Soft Reset will restart your tablet and will not erase any content or data you may have saved on it.
To perform a soft reset, press and hold the power button until the tablet turns off. Wait one minute, then press and hold the power button to turn the tablet back on.
If the problem persists, the touch screen may need replacement. The front panel (including the touch screen and digitizer) should be replaced.
Attempt a Soft Reset; if the Soft Reset is not effective you may want to factory data reset the tablet.
WARNING: This will erase all personal data from internal storage.
To perform the Factory Data Reset:
Select Settings > Under ‘‘Personal’’ select Backup & reset> Select Factory data reset
If none of the options above solve the problem, the motherboard may need to be replaced.
Your screen will not respond to touch or is frozen.
Ensure the device is charged by plugging it into a power source and attempting to turn it on.
After ensuring that the device is charged and turned on, attempt to turn it off then back on again. If this doesn’t work, a soft reset may be useful.
A soft reset will restart your tablet and will not erase any content or data you may have saved on it. To perform a soft reset, press and hold the power button until the tablet turns off. Wait a moment, then press and hold the power button to turn the tablet back on.
Try removing your screen protector and case if you have one to see if the screen will respond. They could be inhibiting the tablet from being able to read all parts of the screen.
If only some areas of the screen aren’t working, it could be a problem with the digitizer screen or connections. It is possible that there is a bad connection of the digitizer ribbon cables, so first ensure that all the cables are connected to the motherboard. If this fails, you may need to replace the screen.
Select Settings > Under ‘‘Personal’’ select Backup & reset > Select Factory data reset
If all these steps fail, it could be a problem with the motherboard.
The tablet powers on, but encounters an error before finishing the startup process.
If your tablet crashes during normal operation, memory intensive tasks, or will not boot up, the RAM may need to be replaced or more needs to be added.
Perform a Soft Reset to start. A Soft Reset will restart your tablet and will not erase any content or data you may have saved on it.
Next, check to make sure there is enough RAM.
If there is enough RAM but the tablet is still crashing, it may be useful to attempt to add more RAM.
If the problem continues, it may be a problem with the software. You may want to factory data reset the tablet.
Hard drive errors can sometimes happen if the user shuts off the tablet by pressing the power button instead of initiating the shutdown sequence through the operating system. If all the above steps fail, you may need to replace your hard drive.
The device is not producing good quality sound or any sound at all from either loudspeaker or headphones. No audio from headphones, speakers, or tablet itself.
Clean the speaker on the top of the tablet with aerosol and a Q-tip.
First check to make sure your tablet is not on mute and that the volume is up.
If there is still no sound, remove headphones from the headphone jack and reinsert them to ensure they are completely plugged in.
If no change, attempt to use another pair of headphones first or use your headphones with a different device. If the sound works on your tablet with the new headphones, your old ones should be replaced.
If the problem continues, check to make sure your playback method is not the problem and make sure you test all the speaker connections.
Audio that cuts in and out is often a sign of a loose audio jack, so make sure the audio jack is fully inserted into the tablet. If the audio is still malfunctioning, test the audio through the tablet speakers, then test it using working headphones. If the audio is only distorted while using headphones, the audio jack may need to be replaced.
Ensure headphones are taken out and the volume on the tablet is turned all the way up. If the sound isn’t as loud as it should be, or there is no sound at all, the speaker may be damaged or disconnected from the motherboard.
Ensure that the wires connecting the speaker to the motherboard are not touching each other and that they are both connected to the motherboard.
If you have tried multiple pairs of headphones and the sound is still not working properly, the audio jack may have a bad connection with the motherboard and should be evaluated. Try replacing the audio jack.
Click here for the speaker replacement guide if the problem is not solved by replacing the audio jack.
If there is still no change after all other options, the motherboard most likely needs to be replaced.
Occasionally, a device will only be able to output audio through a headphone jack, and the speakers will not work, this may be a problem with the speaker, or the solution may be simpler.
Check with a flashlight that the audio jack is clear and unobstructed, a foreign object in the slot may result in the tablet being ‘stuck’ in headphones mode. Sometimes a small fragment of metal from the previous headphone, or a piece of dust or debris may get stuck in the jack.
If you discover an obstruction, make sure to remove the battery and ensure that the device is powered down before you retrieve it.
If you can remove the obstruction without damaging the device, you can use a set of tweezers to do so.
After ensuring that the problem is not from the headphones and that the device is completely plugged in, you may find that the issue is the stereo connection.
A buzzing noise may be a result of a loose speaker. See if pressing down on the speaker cage stops the problem.
If the noise is a result of a loose speaker, it may be possible to fix it by opening up the device and tightening a few screws.
Otherwise it’s possible that the speaker be carefully glued down, while avoiding the functioning components.
Camera is not taking clear pictures or taking any pictures.
There may be water trapped under the lens, if this is the case, it’s possible the the solution is as simple as letting the phone sit in dry, uncooked rice for a few hours.
If this doesn’t fix the problem, the camera module may need to be opened up and allowed to dry out.
Click here to see camera lens replacement guide.
It’s likely that the lens is cracked and will need to be replaced.
The device is unable connect to WiFi.
First make sure that you aren’t in airplane mode. If it is switch it off.
Go to settings and click the WiFi option. See if the WiFi option is turned off. If the WiFi option is turned off turn it on. If the WiFi option is turned on turn it off then on again.
Make sure that the option for the device to be connected to WiFi during sleep mode is enabled.
Look at your WiFi options and make sure that the provider you are trying to connect to is in range of your device.
Make sure that the router is on and plugged in. Try to ensure there are no loose connections attached to the device. Turn off the router for fifteen seconds and try to turn it back on.
Ensure that your device is close enough to the router so the WiFi can be reached.
Check other devices to see if they can connect to the router.
If the WiFi still cannot be reached the router might be broken, and a new one is recommended.
