- Locate the wiring harness bundle, which exits the firewall underneath the brake booster.

- Identify the auxiliary wire, which is folded and taped to either the wiring harness or the fire wall.

- Use a knife to cut the tape away from the wire and unravel it.

- Run the wire against the battery box.

- Place the ring terminal (washer end) of the wire on the right post located at the front of the battery.
- Place the 10 mm washer on the post.
- Tighten the washer using a 10 mm wrench, crescent wrench, or pliers.
- Post size and location may vary slightly in different models. The washer will fit snuggly around the correct post.

Step 6
- After hooking up the wire, check to make sure the 40 amp fuse is installed for the auxiliary pin.
- If the fuse is not installed, there will be an empty space. This fuse can be purchased at any automotive shop.

This sends constant power to the trailer. What if I wanted to make that power switched by the ignition so when the key is off I can be confident that the trailer won’t kill my truck battery? I know I can just unplug the trailer harness or pull this fuse to stop it, but That might be easy to forget to do.

It’s not a break booster, it is a brake booster. If you are going to be an author, you should know the meaning of the words you use.
