• Press the battery release button.
• While pushing the battery button, slide the battery to the left.

• Pull the viewfinder eyepiece out and away from the main video camera until the black mark appears.

• Twist the eyepiece counterclockwise until it stops.

• Pull the eyepiece completely off away from the rest of the viewfinder.

• Using the Small Plastic Opening tool, pry the tab on the plastic lens away from the viewfinder.
