- If your piping looks like the photo, you won’t need tools to make this fix.
- You can easily remove these pipes by twisting them off at the brackets.

- Twist the higher bracket until it comes undone.

- Twist the lower bracket until it also comes undone.
- Water and other liquids will pour out of the brackets so hold the pipe tightly to avoid making a mess.

- Gently remove the pipe and find somewhere to dump out the contents that caused it to be clogged.
- The pipe will be full of water and whatever is stuck inside. Any large obstructions or other blockages may fall out.

- Clear out the gunk, obstructions, and any other objects in the pipe so that your sink drains properly.

- Repeat the steps in reverse to put it back together again.
- The blockage should now be removed and the sink should be draining properly.
