Introduction
What you need
Step 1
Before We begin
- This is not a normal thing to do to a chromebook. Please keep in mind that android app functionality may be degraded without touchscreen. This should only be done if your touchscreen is hypersensitive (like mine) and you can live without (certain) android apps.

Interesting to see this teardown, great photos! Here’s a keyboard shortcut. Is there any way to turn off the touch screen feature for Chrome OS? https://productforums.google.com/forum/#…

Chromebook touchscreen (including pen input) can be disabled / toggled via keyboard shortcuts, the shortcuts are disabled by default and can be switched on with flags. Browse to chrome://flags/ search for Debugging keyboard shortcuts enable it and click Restart Now to restart.
Press shift + search + t to toggle touchscreen on/off
Also shift + search + p will toggle the touchpad on/off
