To enable 32-bit file access, follow the steps below.
- Access the Control Panel from Program Manager.
- Double-click the 386 Enhanced icon.
- Select Virtual Memory, then click Change.
- If the swap file is temporary choose permanent.
- In this screen you can enable the 32-bit disk access, if you do enable the 32-bit disk access ensure you also enable 32-bit file access.
- Restart Windows.
