  • Use the latex paint remover spray for the areas that have remaining material along with the gaps. These areas also need to be replaced with new material.

  • Use scissors to cut the head of the caulk tube at a 45 degree angle.

  • Insert the seal punch into the tip of the latex tube to pierce a hole.

  • Pull back the handle of the caulk gun.
  • Place the caulk tube inside it.
  • Twist the metal bar until it is completely inside the caulk tube and the curved handle is on top.

  • After finishing each side, slide your finger along the caulk to push the material inside the gaps.
