- Use scissors to cut the head of the caulk tube at a 45 degree angle.

- Insert the seal punch into the tip of the latex tube to pierce a hole.

- Pull back the handle of the caulk gun.
- Place the caulk tube inside it.
- Twist the metal bar until it is completely inside the caulk tube and the curved handle is on top.
