Desktop computer monitors are available in sizes ranging from 13 to 43 inches. Some users may utilize their TV as a monitor, with screen sizes of 55 inches or more. Laptop screens generally range from 11.6 to 17 inches. While technology plays a role, generally speaking, the larger the monitor size, the higher the cost. Laptops are a bit different as features and portability weigh more heavily as far as price is concerned. For desktops, laptops, smartphones, and tablets, the monitor or screen is measured from the top-left corner to the bottom-right corner, in inches.
