How to Fisher RS-90 fix AC hum
- My system emitted a very loud 50 Hz AC hum which made it impossible to hear music
- It is caused by ground loops which occur if the receiver and the speakers have different ground levels
- To equalize the ground levels at the back of the receiver is a screw to apply a ground cable. Fix a cable there

- Plug the other end of the cable into the ground insert of one speaker
- The hum should disappear

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
