  • Cut from the middle of the extra correcting tape and remove those used parts.
  • Cut off those used parts from the place near the small gear.

  • Cut a small piece of the scotch tape.

  • Connect the remaining correction tape to the small gear by using a small piece of scotch tape.

  • After the connection is made, wrap the used tape tightly around the gear.
  • Put all the parts back in place.

It probably cost me more time to put it together (first time) than it would to buy a new one. Doesn’t matter, fixed a problem! A sense of accomplishment and pride. %#*@, I love it so much.

This stuff is absolute junk! Wish I could find it packaged the old way, like Avery correction tape used to be, in little cardboard boxes. Hate all that plastic and these things always break for me!
