In this guide, I will show you a simple way to fix your crooked cabinet. The pictures demonstrate a cabinet with a soft-closing multi-adjustable door hinge.

- Open the cabinet door, and determine where it is misaligned.

- Re-attach the hinge into place.
- Soft-closing multi-adjustable hinges can snap back into their thickness plates which is the part attached to the inside of the cabinet.
- Avoid placing your fingers near the thickness plate as its force can cause a painful pinch.

- Hold the hinge firmly against the thickness plate and tighten the screw until the hinge is no longer loose.
- There are different methods for aligning your cabinet door depending on the screw you tighten and the direction:
- Side-to-Side Adjustment: To move the door away from the cabinet, screw clockwise. To move the door closer to the cabinet, screw in a counterclockwise motion.
- Up-Down Adjustment: Screw in a clockwise motion to move the door up. A counterclockwise motion will move the door down.
