Introduction

The pocket in your pant help keep your important possessions like phone, key. A ripped pocket will allow all your possessions to fall get damaged and can lead to loss.

Before using this guide make sure you have some knowledge of sewing with a double stitch method.

Step 4 requires you to insert pins in the traced area you want to sew. This would help create holes. From there you would need to sew the ripped portion using a needle and thread.

Before beginning, make sure to flip the pocket in and out.

  • Put a sewing pin into a stable piece of fabric to make a hole.

  • Carefully insert the a threaded sewing needle into the hole you created at one end of the tear.
  • Sew along the length of the tear, joining the two pieces of fabric together.

  • Sew around the ending part a couple times to prevent it from loosen again.

  • Tie a few knots on both ends of the closed tear to ensure the stitching doesn’t come loose.
  • Carefully cut the remaining thread.
  • Be very careful while cutting the thread to avoid cutting some part of the material also.
