- Pull back on the tab to release the battery.
- Pull the battery out, then close the lid.

- Remove the screw on the back of the turret with a JIS #00 screwdriver.

- Remove two screws from each side of the camera (four in total) using a JIS #00 screwdriver.

- Remove the screw on the bottom of the turret using a JIS #00 screwdriver.

- Carefully pull the face plate off and lay it down.
- There is a cable attached to the plate that should not be removed.

- Tighten the two screws using a JIS #00 screwdriver.
