- Remove the two bottom 16 mm pan head screws using a Phillips #1 screwdriver.

- Remove the two 12 mm button head screws on top using a 4 mm Allen wrench.

- Remove the plastic case from the base of the scooter.

- Carefully pull the sides of the wheels up and remove them from the spring.

- Grab the spring with combination pliers and bend it into a straight position.
- Don’t bend the spring too much as it could snap and replacement would be needed.

- Insert the spring into the center section of the wheels.
- Slide the two rings on the sides of the wheels into the two rods.

- Insert the plastic case back into its original position.
