Introduction
The controller tends to have a stick drift because of the dust that gets caught inside the controller. You wonder how to fix this issue without breaking it or just give up and buy a new controller.
There is no need to buy a new controller, instead, you can open the controller and clean up all the dust that is causing your controller to have issues.
Here is a simple 6-Step guide to fixing your controller and not having to waste money on buying a new controller, make sure to be in a space that is empty because the screws and be easily lost.

- Remove seven screws from the back of the controller using a T8 Torx screwdriver.

- Remove the back to see the motherboard.
- Do this with caution as it could easily be damaged if wires disconnect.

- Gently dab a cotton swab with isopropyl or rubbing alcohol to the joystick in a circular motion.
- Be careful when adding liquid; too much liquid can damage the controller.

- Use a blow dryer to dry both the left and right joysticks.
