Using a paperclip, pin, or a toothpick, press the button.

hello, Lenovo Ideapad A8-50 a5500-f. so my screen was cracked quite a bit, it still worked just fine. then about 2-3 weeks ago I dropped the thing from like 2 ft off the ground (sitting) and I can not for the life of me get my screen to come back on, I attempted to reset it (someone tell me if this is effective at all plz?) via a variety of ways: power/vol down, power/vol up, power/vol up/down, then i found the reset button. all of the techniques i know of gave the same result, after each sequence of buttons i would wait 30-45 min and powered off/on and every time it would start going off with what seemed like 100s of notifications. I thought for sure that one of these methods would have reset the damned thing but no luck and still no pic. Anyone have some input on what may help or why it didnt reset? Im assuming the connection from the digitizer and the body came loose, just in case im wrong, ordered and waiting on the replacement for it so i dont loose any parts or have to take it appart agin.
