• Get the spline started in one corner by forcing it in with a flat blade screwdriver

• Pre roll the pet screen into the spline groove . Make sure the cloth goes in square and flat. Pull it out and try again if it does not.

• Use a new sharp blade in your utility knife to cut through pet screen

• Trim off the excess leaving about 2 inches over the frame before rolling the material in. Leaving too much material hanging will prevent the cloth from laying flat and square.

• The finished job should look flat and square, the screen bars should not be bowed in.
