New Windows 10 users coming from an earlier version of Windows may be confused to find Internet Explorer, is missing. The default browser of Windows 10 is Microsoft Edge. However, you can still use Internet Explorer.
To use Internet Explorer in Windows 10, follow these steps.
How to open Internet Explorer
Open the Microsoft Edge browser.
In the top-right corner of the screen, click the icon.
Select More tools from the menu.
Select Open with Internet Explorer.
If it’s the first time you’ve run Internet Explorer on the computer, you are presented with the Set up Internet Explorer 11 dialog, where you can enable or disable SmartScreen.
To enable SmartScreen and send your visited web addresses to Microsoft, choose Use recommended security and compatibility settings, and click OK.
To browse normally without sending browsing information to Microsoft, choose Don’t use recommended settings, or click Ask me later.
SmartScreen is an optional feature of Microsoft Defender that may enhance browser security and increase compatibility with some websites.
