For more information on how to perform a circuit check, please refer to page 6-2 in the service manual.

Step 1

              Setup

Connect the breathing circuit to the main flow outlet, or as if it were being used for a patient.
Cover up the breathing circuit (do not use test lung) .

Step 2

              Begin Test

Touch the Circuit Check button at the top of the screen.
Press ‘Accept’.

Press ‘Accept’.

Step 3

              Finish

Uncover the end of the patient circuit pictured in Step 1.
Press the ‘Accept’ button to continue with the circuit check.
If test passes, the message “Circuit Check PASSED press accept to confirm” will appear on the screen.

Step 4

              Warnings/Implications

If the Circuit check does not pass, do not use the ventilator for patient use. Use an alternate Method of ventilation.
If the Circuit Check has failed, there may be an issue with the pump assembly, refer to the “Pump Assembly Replacement” guide to proceed with this diagnosis.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
