For more information on how to perform a circuit check, please refer to page 6-2 in the service manual.
Step 1
Setup
- Connect the breathing circuit to the main flow outlet, or as if it were being used for a patient.
- Cover up the breathing circuit (do not use test lung) .

Begin Test
- Touch the Circuit Check button at the top of the screen.
- Press ‘Accept’.

Finish
- Uncover the end of the patient circuit pictured in Step 1.
- Press the ‘Accept’ button to continue with the circuit check.
- If test passes, the message “Circuit Check PASSED press accept to confirm” will appear on the screen.

Warnings/Implications
- If the Circuit check does not pass, do not use the ventilator for patient use. Use an alternate Method of ventilation.
- If the Circuit Check has failed, there may be an issue with the pump assembly, refer to the “Pump Assembly Replacement” guide to proceed with this diagnosis.
