For more information on how to perform a circuit check, please refer to page 6-2 in the service manual.

Step 1

              Setup               
  • Connect the breathing circuit to the main flow outlet, or as if it were being used for a patient.
  • Cover up the breathing circuit (do not use test lung) .

Step 2

              Begin Test               
  • Touch the Circuit Check button at the top of the screen.
  • Press ‘Accept’.

Step 3

              Finish               
  • Uncover the end of the patient circuit pictured in Step 1.
  • Press the ‘Accept’ button to continue with the circuit check.
  • If test passes, the message “Circuit Check PASSED press accept to confirm” will appear on the screen.

Step 4

              Warnings/Implications               
  • If the Circuit check does not pass, do not use the ventilator for patient use. Use an alternate Method of ventilation.
  • If the Circuit Check has failed, there may be an issue with the pump assembly, refer to the “Pump Assembly Replacement” guide to proceed with this diagnosis.
