Step 1

              Open and check for disconnected ribbon cable               
  • First, open your Kobo Touch by taking off the back cover. Refer to Kobo Aura HD Screen Replacement.
  • Then, check if the micro-SD card (2) or the ribbon cable (1) are unplugged.

              Reconnect the ribbon cable               
  • Reinsert the ribbon cable in its socket so that it appears as shown in the photo.
  • Reinstall the cover. Make sure the tabs are aligned and check the position of the small holes on the RESET button.
