  • Place the lid onto the jar and tighten.
  • This step is optional if the larger container in Step 3 has a lid.

  • Place the jar into a larger glass container.

  • Pour hot water into the larger jar until the water level is above the label.

  • Add a few drops of dish soap into the larger jar.
  • This helps to clean up residue from the label.
