- Press the wet paper towel against the hardened tape for about 30 seconds.
- This will soften the tape.

- Aggressively scrub the tape for about 10 seconds.

- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all of the adhesive residue has been removed.

Now that you have successfully removed the tape for your car, it is recommended that you wash your car to get rid of the Goo Gone remnants. Who doesn’t love a clean car, anyway?

This masking tape has been on the side of this old VW for years will googone still take off several layers of it ?
