YouTube recommendations can be beneficial. However, if you’ve watched videos that are outside your regular viewing habits, YouTube starts to recommend those types of videos. To stop seeing videos that are recommended to you by YouTube, follow the steps below.
Remove a single video from your recommendations
Log in to your YouTube channel.
Find the video you want to remove.
At the bottom-right of the thumbnail for the video, click the kebab menu.
Remove a single video from your recommendations.
Remove an entire channel from your recommendations.
In the pop-up menu, select Not interested. This action removes the video from your recommendations.

Log in to your YouTube channel.
In the recommended videos displayed, at the home screen, find a video from the person or channel you want to remove.
At the bottom-right of the thumbnail for the video, click the kebab menu.
In the pop-up menu, select Don’t recommend channel. This action removes all videos from that person or channel from your recommendations.
