Introduction

There are 4 tabs near the handle, so just use a flathead screwdriver to dig them out. Just don’t put too much force since it is made of plastic.

What you need

Step 1

              Locating the tabs
  • I suggest starting from the middle, popping it out just a tiny bit and move outwards to the sides
  • Apply a small constant lift should make removing this easier. Similar to disassembling other plastic encasements.

Step 2

              Taking it out
  • It pulls towards you a little bit to loosen up and then comes out by moving it forward once it’s in this position.
  • Clean the vent and reassemble by inserting it from the bottom first and then clicking in the tabs in the front.

Step 3

              Done
  • Well that was easy wasn’t it? Back to making it eat wildfire smoke and whatnot when the time comes.
  • Also do keep in mind that “PlasmaWave” is an ionizing tech which creates ozone in small amounts (regardless of what manufacturer says), so don’t use it that often. If you do, you need to air out the room/house when the outside air is cleaner.
