  • First, check to see if your front-turn signal is not working properly or not bright enough.

  • Turn on your car and turn your wheels so that you have access to the headlights and front-turn signal.
  • Make sure the car is in park and turned off before you begin making your repair.

  • Use a flathead screwdriver and your hand to loosen the panel.
  • Pry the front bumper open away from the black panel.

Step 4

  • Look inside of the bumper and up towards where the headlights and front-turn signal are.
  • Locate the white bulb socket for the front-turn signal.
  • Reach inside and grab the white bulb socket
  • Twist counter-clockwise to remove the bulb and socket from their position.

Step 5

  • You should see the bulb being removed from its front-turn signal location.

  • Pull the bulb socket and bulb out to an easy to handle area.
  • Remove the nonfunctioning bulb from the bulb socket.
  • Insert new bulb into the bulb socket and twist clockwise until it is tightly fastened.

Step 7

  • Now your front-turn signal should be working properly.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

I’m glad I looked here. I was ready to go in from above and move the battery so I could get at the bulb socket. This method was easier–and had the advantage of working, which I can’t say was true of the approach I had in mind. The drive was wet and I didn’t have my flashlight, so I did it all by feel., seated on an upended plastic bucket. Heavy rubber gloves might help. I almost scored the back of my hand, but managed to avoid that. Excellent advice.

My wheel well & bumper was a bit harder to remove (a few more plastic rivets holding it on) but I was able to get it open enough to reach up - easy enough to remove by feel. Thanks for the guide!

This method worked and i did not have to remove the battery.

The hardest part was removing the little plastic rivets without breaking them. (I broke one.) You will need to remove four plastic rivets total. Three vertical and one on the bottom of the side quarter panel. For some reason two of the rivets have phillips head slots, but the other two have no slots and must be carefully pried.

Once you unscrew the bulb socket, you will need to pull the assembly downward as far as possible in order to get both hands on the bulb.
