- Using a metal file, carefully scratch off the paint closest to the leather.

- Wet a cotton ball with acetone and lightly scrub the leftover paint until the surface is smooth and most or all the paint is removed.
- I recommend using rubber gloves to protect your skin from the acetone, but it’s not necessary.

I just finished my first pair of restored J’s by following the OP instructions. It does take some time and precision work, and patience, but just WOW my Jordans look brand new! (I created a profile but for some reason I can’t log in, ..?) Thanks again OP for this awesome and easy to follow tutorial!
