The laptop will not respond or show any sign of powering up.

If laptop wont power on after hours of charging. Plug in laptop charge adapter and make sure the light on the adapter is on. If light is on and plugged into laptop try pressing the power button to power it on. If laptops turns on, then you have a faulty battery. Replace battery using this guide.

If you take the charger adapter and plug it into an outlet and the light indicator is on, then plug the adapter into the computer. Then press the power button, if the laptop won’t turn on while plugged in, both with and without the battery, then you have a faulty solid state drive(Storage). Replace solid state drive using [invalid guide link].

The laptop’s temperature is high and might burn you if you touch it.

If when using laptop and fans are running but it heats up to an abnormal temperature, remove battery, and plug in laptop into charger adapter. Use laptop for about 10 minutes and if it does not heat up again. Then you have a faulty battery, use this guide for replacing.

If laptop is running at an abnormally hot temperature, check places where air would be coming out via the fan and check if air is coming out. If air isn’t coming out, check if there is a visible blockage. If there is no visual blockage, you might have a faulty fan. Replace fan using this guide.

The laptop becomes unusable due to freezing of screen and or applications.

If while using computer, if laptop just stops and freezes completely. Force turn off and restart laptop . After opening laptop, check your storage. If your storage is full, then you are having an SSD problem. Use [invalid guide link] to resolve your problem.

If while using computer, if laptop starts freezing frequently. Check your storage, If storage is not full then you are having a memory/ram problem. To resolve problem use this guide.

Audio cant be heard out of speakers when there is something playing and volume is on.

If laptop and running and no sound is coming out, check the volume and see if the speakers is muted. If the speakers aren’t muted, the speakers might be faulty. Replace the speakers using this guide.

If laptop audio sound comes out, but the audio is not as loud as you might want it to be. If raising the computer volume does not work, then you may have a faulty speaker on your hands. Follow this guide on how to fix your problem.

If when audio is playing, if static is heard or if the audio doesn’t not sound like what it should. For example, missing treble or base. First try to reset computer if that does not fix problem. Then you may have a faulty speaker. follow this guide on how to fix your problem.

Screen wont light up at all.

Are the fans running? Are any indicator LEDs on? If any other part of the computer is obviously functional then it is most likely that the screen itself or it’s connection to the motherboard is damaged. The guide to fixing this problem is here.

If there are no other indications that the device is running, then it is likely that there is some problem with its power delivery. In this case check the section of this troubleshooting guide related to the device not powering on.

The screen is acting an unusual way.

The screen is damaged. Luckily for display related issues there is little ambiguity as to there cause, so a guide to repairing or replacing a broken screen exists here.

If computer power is on, but the display does not light up. Hold down the power button for 10 secs, release, then press it again to power on the computer. If the screen still does not light up then you have a damaged screen. Follow this guide on fixing/replacing your screen.
