Introduction
The battery gives the computer power, and if it is faulty or not connected properly, it will drain fast, or simply not power the computer or charge at all.
Before starting this guide, make sure that the problem is not that your current battery is just not all the way in. Look at the steps below, and follow them, and if your battery is now working you are good to go.
Be warned it is very easy to break one of the locking pins on the battery if you use too much force, so be gentle when following this guide.
Step 1

- Push the slider with a lock symbol to the right to unlock the battery.

- Push the slider with a battery symbol to the left to push the battery out slightly.
- Pull the battery out fully now that it is released.
Push the slider with a battery symbol to the left to push the battery out slightly.
Pull the battery out fully now that it is released.
For optimal performance, after completing this guide, calibrate your newly installed battery.Take your e-waste to an R2 or e-Stewards certified recycler.
