Introduction
before doing this make sure its not just a application on your computer taking all the processing power, go to task manger and see if a program is using a significant amount of your available memory, if it is, that could be your issue. right click on it and say end the program. (note if you regonzie and are currently using this program, you will most likely still need to replace the ram)
make sure that you use ESD safe tools and use a ESD-Band, to ensure you don’t damage other components on your computer.
ensure that you have backed up your computer before doing this, if you make a big enough mistake, you want to make sure all your data is safe.
Make sure to completely power off the device, and disconnect the charging cable before doing this repair.
now one final check makes sure all your current ram is actually all the way set in the computer( after you have opened the computer), do this by seeing if the ram sticks( see the pictures below) flush with the surface, and that they are not tilted out in any way
if the ram wasn’t set in, put the computer back together, and see if your problem persist, you likely need to replace the ram.
