What you need

Step 1

              Battery               
  • Completely shut down the device and unplug any adapters and cords connected to the device.
  • Carefully flip the device over so that the bottom is facing up.
  • Slide both of the latches to the left.

  • Slide up against the three lines the battery has.

  • Slide the battery up and away from the laptop.
  • Slowly remove the battery to prevent any connectors from getting damaged.

              Remove RAM cover               
  • Completely shut down the device and unplug any adapters and chords that are connected.
  • Carefully flip the device over so that the bottom is facing up.

  • Use a screwdriver to remove the single screw on the covering located on the back of the laptop.

              Locate RAM               
  • Locate the RAM after you remove the covering.

              Push clamps aside               
  • Use fingers or tools to press the clamps that hold the RAM in to the side.

              Pull RAM up to remove               
  • Place your fingers firmly on the RAM and pull it up.

              Remove RAM               
  • Place fingers firmly on RAM and pull it to remove it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.

umm fine, except there is another module under the keyboard , rather an important fact to be overlooking
