RAM Stick
- Turn laptop bottom-side up.
- Push the battery latch to the left position to unlock the battery.
- Lift the battery out of its socket.
- Failure to unplug the computer and remove the battery can result in electrical discharges on contact with the computer’s components. This can damage the computer or even hurt the user.

- Use the Phillips #0 Screwdriver to remove the 2 5mm screws.

- Remove the plastic cover panel.

- Remove the circular, black piece of plastic shown in the picture by pulling it away from the air vent.
- Use the Phillips #00 screwdriver to loosen, but not remove, the two 4mm screws shown in the picture.

- Lift open the metal access hatch.

- Pull the highlighted latches away from the sides of the RAM Stick to unlock it.

- Pull the RAM Stick toward the metal cover’s hinge to unplug the RAM stick.
- Be gentle when removing or installing the RAM. If it breaks, it could damage the adapter that the RAM plugs into.

- Carefully remove the unplugged RAM stick through the access hatch.
