Step 1

              Back Panel               

• Slide the lever firmly to the left on the back panel.
• Once the back panel is unlocked, there should be red showing to the right of the lever.

• Slide the back panel towards you.
• Lift the back panel to remove it.

              RAM               

• Undo the clips on the sides of the RAM chips by pushing them away from the RAM.
• Too much pressure might snap the clips.

• Once the clips are unfastened, use a plastic spudger to lightly pry up the RAM chips.
• Grab the RAM chips, remove them, and set them aside.

Hi KaitLyn TeubertThank you for your HP Elitebook 820 G2 RAM Replacement tutorial

Currently, I have 2 HP Elitebook 820 G2 notebook, and I have problem with one of my HP Elitebook 820 G2.

RAM is not detected. I have tried to replace the RAM to another HP Elitebook 820 G2, and also buy new RAM but its doesn’t work at all.

May you have any suggestion to my problem?Thank you.
