What you need

Step 1

              Battery               
  • Use a JIS #0 screwdriver to unscrew the three 6.73 mm case retention screws.
  • Use a JIS #0 screwdriver to unscrew and remove the two 8.76 mm screws.

Step 2

  • Use the Halberd Spudger to remove the cable running along the bottom of the battery

  • Disconnect the cable connected the battery to the motherboard

Step 4

  • Use a JIS #0 screwdriver to unscrew the four 7 mm screws that secure the battery.

Step 5

  • Slide the battery out of the clips to remove it from the laptop.

              Heat Sink and Fan               
  • Unplug the fan cable from the motherboard.

Step 7

  • Use the JIS #0 screwdriver to remove the three 5.33 mm screws that secure the fan.

Step 8

  • Use a JIS #0 screwdriver to remove the four 4.06 mm screws from the heat sink.

Use a JIS #0 screwdriver to remove the four 4.06 mm screws from the heat sink.

Step 9

  • Lift the fan free.

  • Lift the heat sink free.

Lift the heat sink free.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
