Removing the Back Cover
- Place computer with the screen down on a flat surface.
- Push the two locking latches to the unlocked position.
- Push the cover toward the top of the computer and lift up.

CMOS Battery
- Place your finger on the latch on top of the CMOS battery on the bottom corner of the motherboard.
- Pinch the latch to unlock the battery.
Place your finger on the latch on top of the CMOS battery on the bottom corner of the motherboard.
Pinch the latch to unlock the battery.
Step 3
- Pry the battery up from the sides to remove it.
Pry the battery up from the sides to remove it.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
