Introduction
Many factors can cause a laptop’s screen to malfunction or break. Review the HP Envy x360 15-bp143cl Screen Troubleshooting Page to check if any common factors are affecting the performance of your device.

Thank you for this great guide, been very useful knowing how to remove the screen from th housing! However; I’m looking to replace not the screen but the ‘screen housing’ as the plastic bracket that the hinges screw into (three round flat screws you can see for each hinge) has torn. Very bad design IMHO. The entire screw/bolt has just torn free (all three) on the right hinge. Seeing as the plastic bracket is glued to the metal casing it is irreparable…
Anybody know where I can get the replacement (my HP Envy has a metal/aluminium housing in silver colour).
Kind regards,
Adrian
