What you need

Step 1

              Battery               
  • Power off the laptop before trying to remove the battery.
  • Turn the laptop upside down, and locate the sliding tabs on the battery.
  • Slide both tabs in an inward direction, then slide the battery away from the laptop.

Step 2

              Screen               
  • Slightly tilt the screen downward.
  • The screen is attached by internal clips and adhesive, which means that some force will be necessary for this step.
  • Use the plastic opening tool to force the screen bezel from the screen.
  • Locate the eight silver 2.9mm screws attaching the screen to the lid.
  • Using a PH1 philips head screwdriver detach the screws.
