Netbook battery fails to hold a charge.
Try troubleshooting the battery by following these steps. Insert the battery into the battery compartment on the bottom of the notebook PC. Connect the AC power supply and allow the battery to charge for 15 to 30 minutes. Unplug the AC power adapter cord from the notebook PC. Press and release the Power button to start the computer using only the battery as the power source. If the PC does not power on, then the battery needs to be replaced. Contact HP service and support for further assistance. If the notebook PC does power on, the battery is functioning, however you should run the HP Battery Check utility to evaluate the battery’s health. If there are still issues try replacing the battery.
If the charging of the notebook is faulty, try these following steps. Plug the AC adapter directly into a functioning wall outlet, and plug connector into the computer. Do not plug into a power strip, surge protector or secondary power source. Verify that all power cord connections are secure. Verify that the power button or power LED is lit when the computer is on. Verify that an LED on the AC power supply adapter is lit when plugged into an AC wall outlet. Verify that the AC power supply adapter is the correct type.

Test charger to begin with. Make sure that the jack itself is clean and that there is no dust or other items that could possibly be interfering with the electronic transfer. New jacks may need a bit of extra force for full connection when being plugged in. If all of this is clear, make sure that it is simply not loose by pressing it firmly into the adaptor.
As chargers are used often and deal with wear, they may become damaged or start to fail overtime. If the adaptor isn’t working then it may be best to look over your charger itself. First check the charging jack and make sure it isn’t damaged or loose wires erupting from anywhere. Continue down the charger, searching to the cord for similar effects. Make sure the box portion of your charger is in good condition with no damage or anything else. Finally check the charging connectors for the wall input portion of your charger. Make sure they are not bent or broken. New chargers are available for purchase on many common sites.

User experiences difficulty typing with keyboard.
Loose or lost keys can become common issues in older models. First clear it of any small items that may be blocking the key. Connectivity may also be an issue. Try restarting your computer to allow for updates or simply connection repairs. A guide to key replacement can be found here should none of the other solutions work.
Keys may become stuck from constant use and keyboard pressure. This is a simple fix however. Using a flat object or black, gently remove the key from the keyboard by prying upward against this. Once this is completed, take a soft and small piece of cloth or swab and wipe the inside area to make sure it’s clean and free from anything that can cause future jams. If sticky, apply rubbing alcohol and then let it dry. With these accomplished, then gently place the key back onto the keyboard. The issue should be solved.
