Step 1
Remove rear cover
- Flip the unit so that the screen faces down.
- At each side, remove the Philips screw.
- Separate the back cover from the bezel with a spudger, then pull like you’re gonna go mad!

Step 2
Remove fan
- Remove the two Philips screws securing the metal cover, and remove the cover.
- Remove the three Philips screws of a different size than before that are securing the fan.
- Trace the fan cable and remove the connector from the motherboard.

Trace the fan cable and remove the connector from the motherboard.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
