Your device isn’t charging or is giving low backup power.

Test the power supply you are using. Plug another device into the outlet to check the power supply, or try another power supply. Also check the connection of your charger to your device.

For proper battery backup, charge your device fully. Then go to Settings and adjust the Brightness to the lowest option, make sure you have Network Connection, turn off Bluetooth, and Disable any Updates.

Batteries can die over time and they may need replacing. To replace the battery follow the link HP Pavilion 15b109wm Battery Replacment.

Your device is not responding and gets hot after a short while. Fan makes loud noises whenever it is used.

To ensure the proper ventilation of your device, make sure that the device has room to ventilate. These steps should be followed:

-Keep your device upright, on a firm, level surface.

-Provide 6 inches of clearance around each vent.

-At very high altitudes (Above 5000 feet), take extra care of laptop to keep it cool.

If your device is overheating, place it in a cooler room. A small temperature difference can help prevent a component from failing.

HP products offer the option to switch to a lower power CPU state in which the computer runs cooler. The default setting for the HP pavilion products is Performance mode. Selecting Balanced mode automatically balances performance with power consumption. Selecting Power Saver Mode saves power by reducing the systems performance.

The vents on this device allow air to flow throughout the interior of the device and cool it down. If these vents become clogged the device no longer has a way to cool itself down and will overheat. Lint and dust accumulation can prevent the fan from properly cooling down the components. To remove the dust you do not need to take apart your device, using a vacuum, hairdryer on cool, or a can of compressed air, will do the job. Make sure to used the compressed air on all vents of your device. Removing the dust increases the airflow to improve cooling and allows the fan to run quieter. Doing this periodically can greatly reduce the possibility of component damage and prevent the slowdown of performance.

If your device overheats, there is a possibility that the fan in the device is too faulty to cool the device. The fan inside of your device might need replacing. To replace the fan follow the link HP Pavilion 15b109wm Fan Replacement.

If overheating issues still exist after cleaning the vents and moving the computer to a cooler room, a hardware component might be damaged. Test the computer to see if any hardware, such as memory, the processor, or the graphics hardware, have failed. If hardware has failed, either replace the bad component or contact HP for further assistance.

Your device cannot seem to connect to the internet or does so very slowly even when you seem to be connected to a WiFi or Ethernet cable.

The solution to this could just be a simple fix such as restarting the device. To restart the device, you could press the keys Alt + F4, scroll down on the drop down menu and select restart. Without a working wireless card, you computer is unable to process the radio waves that make up WiFi signals and convert them into network information. As such, a fault with your WiFi card could lead to your network connection either becoming unstable or failing altogether. To replace a faulty wireless card, follow this link HP Pavilion 15-b109wm WLAN Module Replacement.

There are various spyware and adware that interrupt the internet connection of your device. Installing a firewall could also help prevent future installation of spyware.

Another solution is to replace the RAM inside of your device. To do this follow the link HP Pavilion 15-b109wm Memory Module Replacement

Your device frequently freezes, shuts down and reboots itself
