              Battery
  • Flip the laptop over so that the underside is facing you.

  • Using your hands, push the two tabs inwards to release the battery.
  • Remove the battery from the device.

              Back Panel
  • Remove eleven screws from the back panel.
  • Remove the back panel from the device.

              Fan
  • Use a Phillips #0 screwdriver to remove the single screw securing the fan to the motherboard.

  • Disconnect the fan wire carefully so that the fan is longer connected to the motherboard.

  • Remove the fan from the device.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
